Go Easy
Perhaps the most impressive thing about Irish duo We Cut Corners is the sheer amount of noise they can create for just two people. That, and their admirable ability to tell a compelling short story. In just under three minutes John Duignan and Conall O’Breachain skillfully go from quiet reflection to bitter bombast in suitably epic fashion, peppered with vicious lyrics such as “I used to be a fire but they put me out!” One to shout along to after a particularly nasty argument. Play it loud and often.
