Goo Goo Dolls' 1998 anthem ‘Iris’ has been streamed more than one billion times on Spotify.
Goo Goo Dolls will play their first headline UK & Ireland tour in over three years next summer, with a date at Vicar Street on Tuesday, June 13th,
John Rzeznik and Robby Takac’s tour takes in nine dates kicking off in Dublin before visiting Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester and London.
The duo’s last UK tour took place in February 2020, just a few weeks before the world shut down due to the pandemic. The band released their latest album, Chaos in Bloom, earlier this year,
Singer John Rzeznik said: “Hello everyone we are excited to be heading back to the UK and Ireland for the first time in over three years! Robby and I can’t wait to see all your faces again!”
Since their inception in New York 36 years ago, Goo Goo Dolls have sold more than 12 million records worldwide.
Tickets to Goo Goo Dolls’ 2023 UK tour go on sale at 10am on Friday, 16th December.
