Google Music Service Launched in the US
They've secured some high-profile exclusive releases to celebrate the launch.
Building on the Music Beta service unveiled last summer, on Wednesday November 16 Google launched their much-anticipated, full Google Music service, which combines downloads, streaming and social media. A music store for PC and Android devices which integrates with the service has also been set up, offering over 13 million tracks from majors like Universal EMI and Sony and multiple independents.
A few releases exclusive to the Music Service have also been unveiled, including Brussels Affair, a live Rolling Stones Album, a live Shakira EP and a live Coldplay five-track EP.
