The Aussie artist came to prominence through her work with Bon Iver.
Hot on the heels of her appearance earlier this year at Forbidden Fruit, Aussie up-and-comer Gordi is set to play the Button Factory, Dublin on November 9.
Her debut album Reservoir is released on August 25.
It's a long way from her musical beginnings playing songs for classmates at her weekly school assembly.
From growing up in the tiny Australian farming town of Canowindra to performing backing vocals with Bon Iver and touring with Asgeir, Tallest Man on Earth, Highasakite, Local Natives and Of Monsters and Men, she's had a wild ride so far and this looks set to continue.
Gordi, also known as Sophie Payten, explains that the album title comes from an emotional place.

"The name Reservoir, it's that thing that you can't describe, that space that anxious people would probably live their life in. It's actually an expression my friend and I use."
"If I'm really down one day, I’ll say, "Oh I'm a bit in the reservoir today’" You're mulling everything over, and you're sitting in all these thoughts and feelings. In order to be able to write a song I need to go to that place, but I couldn't live a functional life if I spent all my time in there."
Tickets for Gordi's Button Factory date go on sale August 25 at 9 a.m from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
