Limerick’s We Should Be Dead have just released the superb third single, ‘Zero Point Five’, from their lauded debut long-player. The band will head out on their first US tour before beginning work on the highly anticipated second album. Dublin’s Vodkopter release ‘A Climbing Young Executive’ on July 24 with an official launch show in The Sugar Club. The debut EP was recorded with Shane Cullen at K9 studios. The band are currently working on their first music video for the song ‘They Need More Love’. The band comprises Gavin Redmond on guitar, piano and vocals, Stephen Parnell on bass and Daniel Geraghty on drums. Gavin and Stephen have gigged at The Ruby Sessions and with their friends Littles Xs For Eyes in The Sugar Club but a slew of new dates with powerhouse drummer Daniel are on the cards…

Dublin’s The Red Labels (who went down a storm on the IMRO New Band Stage at Oxegen) have just released their first single ‘Fire’. This year the band were victorious in the JD Set Final and came a very impressive second out of 250 in the Phantom Battle Of The Bands. We wish them luck in the King Kong Club Battle Of The Bands on July 19 and look forward to upcoming live dates such as the Castlepalooza Festival in Offaly on August 3 and the Solas Festival in Carlow on August 16…
