At the time of writing, Abrams' concert at Dublin's 3Arena next Monday is still scheduled to go ahead.
Gracie Abrams has expressed her "deepest regrets" following the cancellation of the first two shows of her 2025 UK and Ireland arena tour.
The U.S. popstar kicked off The Secret Of Us tour at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid last month, making stops in cities such as Lisbon, Stuttgart, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Zurich, Milan and Paris.
Abrams was originally scheduled to head to the UK, starting with a performance at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham tonight (3 March), followed by a show in Leeds.
However, a message posted on social media today stated that due to an ongoing illness – which had already caused her to cancel a recent show in Belgium – she has been deemed unfit to perform.
“I hate that I have to write this again so soon,” the handwritten note, addressed to Nottingham and Leeds, began. “Unfortunately, I am still really struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights. I can’t tell you how much this breaks my heart.

“This tour is something I’ve been dreaming of since the album came out and the shows we’ve played so far have meant more to me than I can tell you. The moment we hear any concrete details about these two shows in your cities, we will be in touch. Please know I’d give anything to be able to be with you. Thank you for understanding. I’m sending all my love and my deepest regrets.”
Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena show and the O2 Academy Leeds gig have been postponed and are awaiting reschedule.
At the timing of writing, Abrams’ forthcoming UK shows in London, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow between 6 and 12 March are unaffected.
Her upcoming show at Dublin's 3Arena is still, at present, expected to go ahead on Monday 10 March.
