The new track, out November 5th, is set to feature on the soundtrack for forthcoming rom-com Mark, Mary and Some Other People.
Legendary rock trio Green Day dropped news on Twitter yesterday of their new single ‘Holy Toledo!’.
Out this Friday November 5th, the track is set to feature on the soundtrack for forthcoming rom-com Mark, Mary and Some Other People.
The track follows the release of last years singles ‘Pollyanna' and ‘Here Comes The Shock', and the recent release of a 1994 performance of ‘Basket Case’ from one of the sessions that make up their BBC Sessions live album, which is due for release on December 10th.

The 16 track live album will feature rare recordings of sessions for the BBC from 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2001.
The BBC Sessions will be available in multiple physical formats, including CD and limited edition 2LP vinyl versions, including a Sea Blue/Hot Pink edition exclusive to the band’s online webstore, and a Milky Clear version to be sold at indie record shops. Pre-order it here.
Ahead of the album release, the band have been sharing a new track each week, including classics such as 'Basket Case' and ‘2000 Light Years Away’.
Green Day are set to play their rescheduled Hella Mega Tour dates with Fall Out Boy and Weezer across Europe this summer, including Dublin's RDS on June 27th.
