Billie Joe Armstrong — who spent the pandemic offering covers — and Co. first performed the 'Dressed to Kill' song at Green Day’s Oklahoma warm-up gig earlier this week.
Green Day have delivered their own take of KISS’ track ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ on their Hella Mega tour.
The California rock outfit's headline set and opener gig took place at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas last Saturday (June 24th).
KISS' Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley both voiced their approval of Green Day’s cover on Twitter, writing; “‘Tonight In DALLAS!’ Another reason to love @GreenDay!”
The Hella Mega Tour, which also features Fall Out Boy and Weezer, was initially announced in September 2019 but was postponed several times due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
