The musician's brand new moody ballad arrives on March 5, 2021.
Dubliner Greg Clifford is set to release one of the the finest Irish singles of the year so far with ‘Long Lost Friend’, an irresistible moody ballad set to drop on March 5.
A talented arranger and producer who has worked with Hozier and performed with the RTE Concert Orchestra, Clifford has previously released the well-received albums Quodlibet and 20/20 Vision.
He should enjoy plenty of airplay for ‘Long Lost Friend’, which nicely showcases his song-craft and melodic flair.
“The song represents sacrifice, defiance and the darkness that suppresses you,” says Greg. “Change is always tinged with nostalgia but you must move forward in order to survive.”

The song serves as a mouthwatering teaser for Clifford’s next album Lines Of Desire, which is due for release later this year and set to be accompanied by a book and documentary.
