Australian singer-songwriter grentperez has announced a headline show at The Academy, Dublin, on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
He first broke through with his gold-certified single 'Cherry Wine' and has since performed at major festivals such as Lollapalooza, as well as touring in support of artists like Rex Orange County, Wallows, Laufey, Cavetown, and more.
The announcement follows the recent release of his anticipated full-length debut album, Backflips in a Restaurant, a genre-blending project combining R&B, indie-folk, and symphonic pop. The album features contributions from producers and co-writers such as Jennifer Decilveo (Hozier, Miley Cyrus), Sam de Jong (Gracie Abrams, Phantogram), and Linden Jay (Doja Cat, Stormzy).
Backflips in a Restaurant builds on the success of his earlier EPs, 2023’s When We Were Younger and 2022’s Conversations with the Moon.
On the album’s title, grentperez said: “I love that phrase because there’s a sense of controlled chaos, which is exactly what I want to create with my music.”

“I’ve always known I’ve wanted to keep evolving and changing it up, instead of playing it safe and making the same thing over and over.”
