Not quite a marriage of pop and country, but certainly a noteworthy new union. Gwen Stefani has confirmed that she is currently dating country star Blake Shelton. The pair are both mentors on The Voice USA. The confirmation follows rumours of a romance after the pair were seen together at Halloween parties over the weekend.
Stefani split with her husband Gavin Rossdale, who she had been married to for 13 years, in August, whilst Shelton had split from his wife Miranda Lambert shortly before.

Musically speaking, we are still waiting for Stefani to deliver a follow-up to 2006 solo album The Sweet Escape Pharrell-assisted new track 'Spark The Fire' landed last December but Stefani has claimed a full album's worth of material featuring the likes of Charli XCX and Sia has been since scrapped.
Late October saw the arrival of 'Used To Love You', a song reportedly about the end of her marriage to Rossdale.
