The second in a series of one-day events kicks off tomorrow with music, literary talks and comedy.
After a successful first event on September 5, Curious Gardens returns tomorrow (September 9), with HamsandwicH and Paddy Hanna headlining.
A festival series that could give us a glimpse of what festivals might look like post-Covid, Curious Gardens is a series of one-day festivals that feature a combination of music, comedy and literary talks. Presented by Schweppe Curtis Nunn and Emperor's Robes in combination with the Office of Public Works, there's something for everyone.
Cathy Davey, Camembert Quartet, and Luna Boys – among others – also share the music bill, and Joanne McNally will be in conversation with Séamas O'Reilly (Did Ye Hear Mammy Died?).
Taking place at Emo Court in Co. Laois, tickets for the event are €39 per person, plus a booking fee, and sold in pods of 4 or 6. Under 18s are allowed, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visit their website for more details.
