HamsandwicH - one of Ireland’s most beloved indie bands who have remained a steadfast fixture of the music scene over the years has today announced the release of their first ever live album- titled The Live Album.

The Live Album marks the band's fifth LP and was recorded at the group's 20th anniversary gig at the  3Olympia Theatre- a venue the Meath band has sold out three times.

The band celebrated their 20th anniversary by returning to the legendary venue on October 21st, 2023 where the live album recording took place.

A career spanning set-list, the performance featured songs from across their four studio albums Carry the Meek, White Fox, Stories From The Surface, and their most recent offering, Magnify which Hot Press described as "Cheerful, charming synthpop".

The Live Album is billed for a March 15 release and will feature all the fan favourite including an electric performance of 'Ants'.

The night was recorded by the band’s longtime soundman Darren Clarke and will be released as the band’s first live album in conjunction with Dublin Vinyl. The album will also be available on digital platforms.

Niamh Farrell, the front woman of HamsandwicH said of the upcoming LP:  “We are all so excited to finally get to release our very first proper LIVE album! It was such a pleasure to have a gig once again in such an iconic venue and we were delighted that we got such a good recording that we had to what it."

Continuing she said: "I think we have managed to capture the party atmosphere and put it onto vinyl, we hope people will enjoy listening to it".

The album release also coincides with the group's Trio Acoustic Tour, which will see HamsandwicH deliver their incendiary live performances across the country in venues in Limerick, Louth, Dublin Cork, Waterford and Kilkenny.

The Trio Acoustic Tour kicks off on March 1.
