It's Dermot versus Harry this week on the Official Irish Albums Charts, but Kate Bush fends off the one and only Beyonce to keep her 'Running Up That Hill' as the No.1 single.
It's Harry's world and we're all just living in it. More accurately, it's Harry's House. His third solo album has retained the No.1 spot today, narrowly beating Dermot Kennedy's debut album Without Fear, which has been in the charts for a record-breaking number of weeks.
The Malahide singer-songwriter has just announced his sophomore album SONDER with new single 'Dreams', and his recent outdoor dates at St Anne's Park and Malahide Castle have predictably boosted his sales. He'll headline Electric Picnic in September, ahead of the new album on the 23rd.
Harry's pop power was too bright, however, retaining the crown after his Aviva Stadium jaunt last week. Hits like 'As It Was', 'Late Night Talking' and 'Matilda' are all in the Top 10 Irish Singles Charts, too.
Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR rises to No. 3, Lewis Capaldi's 2019 debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent goes up to No.4, Red Hot Chill Peppers' Greatest Hits climbs to No.9 while The Eagles' Complete Greatest Hits goes up to No. 11.

Lastly, Green Day's Greatest Hits: God’s Favourite Band rises to No. 20 and Guns N’ Roses' Greatest Hits rockets to No. 22. Coming off the back of some major Dublin shows at Fairview Park, Marlay Park and more, all the aforementioned artists saw their sales drastically increase.:
Meanwhile, Conan Gray has achieved his first ever Irish Top 10 Album at No.8 with the stunning, emotional Superache. It's the highest new entry on the Official Irish Albums Charts this week, deservedly so. The best pal of Olivia Rodrigo knows how to write poignant pop bangers.
Mic Christopher album Live at the Lobby has entered the album charts at No. 18, while James Vincent McMorrow’s first of two new Faction Records LP The Less I Knew is at No. 29.
Looking at the Irish Singles Chart in more detail, Kate Bush is still at No.1 with ‘Running Up That Hill’. The final two episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 landed today, which presumably kept the song on everyone's minds.
George Ezra breaks into the Top 10 with 'Green Green Grass' while Drake's Nevermind track 'Massive' reaches a new peak.
Beyoncé's new dance banger ‘Break My Soul’ is up sixteen places to No.2, with her album Renaissance due out in the coming months. Irish trio Belters Only climb a further two places to No.15, while 'Make Me Feel Good' is still at No. 25.

The Dubliner group is one of just two Irish artists in the Top 30. The other is Dermot Kennedy, who also has three tracks featured – ‘Better Days’ at No. 16 and the collaboration with Meduza, 'Paradise’ at No. 30. 'Someone to Someone' goes up three places to No.3.
