Harvest, Ireland’s premier Neil Young Tribute act, are set to take to the boards at the 3Olympia Theatre on Saturday 11th November 2023.
Harvest was formed by Neil Young mega fan Sean O'Leary back in 2009. Initially a four-piece, the band is now an eight-piece - including pedal steel, electric piano and harmony backing vocals. Harvest have successfully delivered brilliant live sold out shows throughout Ireland and the UK.
The tribute act mix the energy and dynamics of Neil Young’s electric numbers with Crazy Horse with the delicacy and beauty of songs from his acoustic periods.
A typical Harvest show includes performances of firm favourites “Heart of Gold”, “Old Man”, “Out On The Weekend”, “Harvest Moon”, “The Needle And The Damage Done” and incendiary versions of “Rockin’ In The Free World”, “Cortez The Killer”, “Down By The River”, “Cinnamon Girl” and “Like A Hurricane” to name but a few.
In July of this year, Neil Young released a shelved Crazy Horse album Toast. Young and Crazy Horse recorded the album in 2001 at Toast Studios in San Francisco, featuring the track "Standing in the Light of Love".
“Toast is an album that stands on its own in my collection,” Young said last year. “Unlike any other, Toast was so sad that I couldn’t put it out. I just skipped it and went on to do another album in its place. I couldn’t handle it at that time. 2001.”

“The music of Toast is about a relationship,” he added. “There is a time in many relationships that go bad, a time long before the break up, where it dawns on one of the people, maybe both, that it’s over. This was that time.”
