The legendary promoter joins a host musicians and industry folk for the November event.
Harvey Goldsmith is the latest addition an already tasty Music Show line-up. The promoter and organiser began his illustrious career in 1966, forming Artiste Management Productions Limited seven years later. Among his many career highlights, Goldsmith produced Live Aid with Bob Geldof.
Producer Roger Bechirian has also confirmed he'll be partaking in the event. Roger has worked with the likes of Elvis Costello, The Undertones, Nick Lowe and Bell X1, to name but a few. Chris O'Donnell of Live Nation UK - and former manager of Thin Lizzy will also take part, as will Chrissy Iley - interviewer to the stars! Chrissy is renowned for her intimate celebrity profiles published in the Sunday Times Magazine, Observer Magazine, You, Glamour and Harper’s Bazaar. She was awarded 'Interviewer of the Year' in the 2008 British Press Awards, received for her work on Demi Moore, The Police and Keira Knightley.
Legendary record company man Malcolm Dunbar has also confirmed he's RDS-bound. In the A&R business for over 25 years, Dunbar has held senior positions at Warners/East West, Island, V2, Sanctuary and Mother/Universal where he worked closely with U2. Along the way he’s signed and developed such hit artists as Lloyd Cole & The Commotions, Julian Cope, Orange Juice, The Christians, Tanita Tikaram, Longpigs, Bjork, Idlewild, Liberty X, The Datsuns, Dolores O’Riordan, The Rakes, Estelle and many more. He’s currently MD of PledgeMusic.com, a site which aims to “get musicians the funding and promotional support that they need, and the fan the music they want at the price they want to pay.” Well worth checking out.
Another highly-respected industry veteran, booker and promoter Neil O’Brien currently works with the likes of Boy George, Black Country Communion, Christopher Cross, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Dionne Warwick, Sharon Shannon and Imelda May, and has many a tale to tell!

The Music Show, a Hot Press and 2fm backed extravaganza, takes place in the Dublin RDS on November 11 and 12.
Day and weekend tickets priced €12 and €16 respectively are available now from Ticketmaster.
The aforementioned join a line-up that also includes Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien who’s in on the Saturday.
