Her debut solo album PETALS FOR ARMOR is out May 8.
Hayley Williams has released another single, titled 'Leave it Alone,' from her upcoming solo debut album. It's the second single and music video from PETALS FOR ARMOR.
'Leave it Alone' comes just one week after the release of 'Simmer' and its accompanying music video. The Paramore vocalist sings about loss over haunting and atmospheric instrumentals. In BBC 1 interview promoting 'Simmer' and the album announcement, Williams discussed a new level of vulnerability she's exploring on PETALS FOR ARMOR.
"Don’t nobody tell me that God don’t have a sense of humor / 'Cause now that I want to live / Well everybody around me is dying / Now that I finally want to live the ones I love are dying" she sings.
The music video, directed by Warren Fu, features stunning visuals and choreography. Williams also released a visual for 'Simmer Interlude' on Monday, which appears to connect the other music videos.
