While no queueing is allowed prior to gates opening, patrons are advised to allow sufficient time to travel to the event and pass through security checks.
Good to know:
- Also good to know is that Punchestown '24 is a standing only event and all gigs take place outdoors on grass (Here's hoping for some good bank holiday weather!) . The organisers have asked attendees to check the forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ ponchos and sun cream.
- There are two entry points to the site – the BLUE route is for buses only and the ORANGE route is for cars (inc. taxis) only. Each route will have parking or drop-off options available. Please do not attempt to drop off outside the venue or on nearby roads, as this is dangerous due to no footpaths.
- There is only one entrance point to the event arena, and it is approx. 300m from bus / car parks & drop- off points.
- Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition of entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue.
- Concert-goers are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on site. Any items left at entrances/in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
- Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not
be permitted, see the full list of prohibited items on www.mcd.ie/prohibited-items - There are no same day re- admissions to the concert. Weekend ticket holders will receive a wristband to return for the Sunday event, but may only enter once per day.
- Tickets are non-transferable so weekend tickets cannot be used by different people on different days.
- Don’t rush to exit after the concerts.
In terms of transport, Bus Éireann and many private coaches will be running return services to Dublin City Centre and Naas across the weekend while taxi and car drop of points will be available within the site. There is no need for prior booking.
There will be one box office at the over 16s event, although organisers have encouraged concert goers to download their tickets ahead of the event.
For anyone looking for accessibility accommodations to be made, you can request it here. Please note, all forms close 7 days out from event date.

Accessible ticketholders do not need to contact event organisers, they will be contacted directly regarding accessible parking/ drop-off options. All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.
Lastly Punchestown '24 organisers have asked attending to be mindful that Punchestown is a residential area, and have asked that attendees respect the local community by not littering, not engaging in anti-social behaviour and by not parking illegally.
