Catch The Sleaze's exciting performance live via the Hot Press Instagram tonight at 7pm - supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
Hot Press is delighted to announce a special performance tonight from the blues inspired four piece The Sleaze as part of the Hot Press Y&E Series!
The Sleaze fit comfortably in a music sphere of shouting then dancing then melancholic self-reflection. Their singles 'Sometimes I feel' and 'Born On The Wrongside' have both been selected as Hot Press track of the day and they recently were nominated by Radio Nova for A New Local Hero Award.
After bursting onto the scene with their song 'Sometimes I Feel' detailing the struggles of making it in modern life, The Sleaze have gone from strength to strength.
The Sleaze performed on the Irish Festival circuit last summer with gigs at Electric Picnic and Kaleidescope. 'Where the Wind is Gonna Blow', the band's latest release, is akin to one you'd absolutely shred on guitar hero in your childhood home.
Fans of The Sleaze have much to look forward to next year; a 5 track EP in the works for a 2024 release.
