300 limited edition cassettes of the EP are available on Bandcamp now.
Hilary Woods has shared a surprise EP Feral Hymns, released via Sacred Bones Records.
The powerful five-track EP is the latest from the Irish multi-media artist. Mixed and mastered by Lasse Marhaug, the record blends Woods' voice with strings, electronics and field recordings. It's a departure from the artist's previous releases, which include 2020 single 'N.I.B.' and record Birthmarks.
Woods described the new EP as "a collection of hymns set at dusk."
"Speckled memory, dust, earth, grit, ritual and chat – purged in the shadows. Unspoken bonds, primal pain, cyclical patterns, unsent love letters. Homemade recordings, made at home," she added.
Feral Hymns is available to stream digitally now. 300 limited edition cassettes are also available on Bandcamp.
