HONEYPOT, Dublin’s first electronic club night for gay girls and friends, has announced a very festive and queer party to round off the year. The collective will be hosting their 'Gay as Christmas' party on the last Friday before Christmas -December 22, with a special guest: D. Tiffany.
Canadian born, Berlin bred, DJ D. Tiffany has emerged as one of the most distinctive voices in dance music today. Both as producer and DJ, she wields the raw living energy of the club with a seasoned precision, and in either case her approach is ferocious, razor-sharp and entrancing. This summer she’s played some of the most exciting dance floors, with shows at revered festivals (inc Honcho, Solstice and Sustain-Release) and essential clubs (inc De School, Berghain and Corsica Studios).
This event marks the collective's 8th party this year- having gone from strength to strength since their foundation in 2022. This year alone the group ha raised over €2,500 for various charities through their club nights, and have added a stage takeover at All Together Now as feather in their very impressive cap.
Recently, the collective hosted EMERGE, a competition they ran in collaboration with Yamamori Tengu, which saw eight rising DJs get the opportunity to play a gig at their showcase night in Yamamori Tengu. Their jam-packed year highlights the collective’s commitment to spotlighting both established and emerging queer, trans and non-binary talent in the creative industries and also is set to concude with a bang with their upcoming 'Gay as Christmas' party.
