The Derry natives continued to make friends and influence people last year with their seminal debut album Stability. A righteous, hook-filled salvo of punk-peppered indie, it effortlessly affirmed why the four-piece are such an incendiary force to be reckoned with, while also marking them out as an act with plenty to say. Stuffed with anthems (some of which scooped Track Of The Fortnight in this very mag), the band are currently on the cusp of very big things indeed, and in frontman Paul Connolly, they’re blessed with one of the most erudite and electrifying performers around. Recent winners of the Oh Yeah Centre’s NI Music Prize, they’ll be playing alongside Snow Patrol in Ward Park, Bangor this May.
HEAR: Stability.
SEE: They support Therapy? at Derry’s Nerve Centre on March 20.
