Bringing you the best up-and-coming homegrown acts to look out for over the next 12 months...
Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets
This Limerick City band enjoyed a major 2022 – including their first tour, acclaimed support slots for previous ‘Hot For 2020’ act milk., the release of their crazy how we live like this EP, and nearly a quarter of a million streams on their single ‘running away’. The indie-rock five-piece draw inspiration from The War on Drugs, Bon Iver, and Radiohead, to craft music that explores themes of loss, mental health, and the everyday issues facing young Irish people. With an ever-growing fanbase backing each release, 2023 is already shaping up to be a big one for this up-and-coming band – as they release their debut album, how are you feeling today?, on March 10.
