This genre-splicing artist’s rise to stardom is already well underway, following a phenomenal reception on recent tours with Kid Cudi and Biig Piig. Drawing inspiration from Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000 and J Dilla, Monjola’s approach naturally straddles scenes and sounds, while also boasting plenty of mass appeal – with nearly three million Spotify streams on his lauded 2021 single ‘Smile’ alone. He’s also made major waves as a co-founder of Chamomile Records, alongside his brother Moyo and ‘Hot For 2022’ Irish act Aby Coulibaly.
