Yinyang (AKA Ballymena-bred, London-based Lauren Hannan) started out life as a bedroom project to stave off lockdown boredom. Over the last few years, she’s evolved to become one of the most exciting new voices around, growing in confidence and charm by the month, while taking a chainsaw to pigeonholes and labels. Drawing on hip-hop, noughties electroclash and punk, as well as mavericks of the silver screen like Quentin Tarantino, speaker-shaking songs such as ‘Happy Money’ are an irresistible marriage of sound and vision.
