Girlfriend.

The band that makes you wish you were in a band, Girlfriend.’s debut album, To Be Quiet, was released in October 2023, setting up the indie-rocker outfit for an even bigger 2024. Speaking about it, the Dubliners say it “has survived through broken bones, unemployment, dead end jobs, a global pandemic, illness, heartbreak, crises, an illegal eviction and so many other adverse factors”. In spite of the rocky years that brought about the genesis of the album, it’s an affirmation of life: “It is a celebration of our friendship, and being able to turn pain into something beautiful with your mates”.
