Having initially traded as a house DJ, the UCD Psychology graduate switched in 2019 to singing with her first three singles – ‘Here’, ‘Golden’ and ‘Over’ – showcasing her gorgeous neo-soul voice and knack for memorable hooks. Falling in with some of the same people who’ve guided Joy Crookes, Celeste, Jorja Smith and St. Vincent to international success, the Zimbabwean-born Shiv moved last year to Paris, where she has the bulk of her debut album in the can.
