Mia Black

The A New Local Hero finalist got her start as a busker in the street performance mecca of Galway a few years ago. Since then, Black has generated a huge social media buzz, building a hundred-thousand-strong army of YouTube followers. Her music sits somewhere between the delicate indie-pop of Billie Eilish and Gracie Abrams-style piano balladry, with Black excelling at both covers and original material. Elsewhere, the Monaghan singer has also teamed up with Boyce Avenue, ‘YouTube’s most-followed American band’ – so get on it!
