St. Andrew's College Choir and Nile St. James' performances for the 25th anniversary celebrations of the classic Oasis album are going live this weekend!
After a spectacular run of performances, the finale of the Hot Press #MorningGlory25 performance series, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Oasis' era-defining album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, is nearly here! This weekend, we're capping off the series with special performances from St. Andrew's College Choir and Nile St. James!
Since its release through Creation Records on October 2, 1995, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? has come to be considered one of the seminal records of the '90s. As the UK's best-selling album of the decade, it spent 10 weeks at No.1 on the Albums Chart, and fought off stiff competition from Blur and Radiohead to take home the award for British Album of The Year at the 1996 BRITs.
As part of our 25th anniversary performance series, we're presenting covers of the songs from (What's The Story) Morning Glory? from nine rising stars, as well as a 60-strong school choir.
Each performance is shared at 7pm on hotpress.com and the Hot Press YouTube channel!
