The Hot Press New Band Stage will be hosting some of the hottest new acts around over the Oxegen weekend – including Little Boots and Passion Pit.

The New Band Stage has hosted some of biggest acts over the years like The Killers and Interpol and this year will be no exception, as bands from all over the world will be there to entertain you at Hot Press' very own stage.

Other bands announced for the Hot Press New Band Stage are former Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle and her band Spinnerette, The Maccabees – who are playing Dublin's Academy tonight, one of the most creative singer-songwriters of late, Patrick Wolf, and – fresh from playing Dublin in April – The Virgins.

Some of the Irish bands gracing the stage are O Emperor, Truffle Shuffles, In Case Of Fire and Wallis Bird.

The line-up so far is:

Friday 10th July: Spinnerette, Howling Bells, The Hours, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Mumford & Sons, Priscilla Ahn, O Emperor, Truffle Shuffle.

Saturday 11th July: The Airborne Toxic Event, Patrick Wolf, Passion Pit, Hockey, Little Boots, Sneaky Soundsystem, Go Audio, Magistrates, In Case Of Fire, Will and the People.

Sunday 12th July: The Twang, The Maccabees, Wallis Bird, Camera Obscura, The Virgins, Wild Beasts, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, The Chapters.

Plus, there's more acts yet to be announced.

Oxegen is hosted by MCD and is on from July 10-12 in Punchestown Racecourse, Co. Kildare.

Camping and day tickets are available from all usual outlets.
