Some of the most exciting names in Irish music will be streaming performances from The Button Factory over the coming days and weeks – broadcast exclusively by Hot Press.
Hot Press has announced a series of upcoming streamed gigs from The Button Factory in Dublin, kicking off on December 30 – and streamed exclusively by hotpress.com.
The genre-spanning line-up highlights the dazzling diversity and creativity currently on offer across the Irish music scene – despite the devastating impact that Covid-19 has had on the industry.
The series of gigs – enabled through the Live Performance Support Scheme, introduced by Minister Catherine Martin – is presented by TEG MJR Éire & MPI Artists, and will feature performances from Lethal Dialect, Blackbird & Crow, Vernon Jane, New Valley Wolves, Thumper and New Secret Weapon. The shows, which will rub from the end of December through to the beginning of February, kick off at 8pm each night.
The aim of the series is to enable artists who are among Ireland's brightest creative forces to continue doing what they do best – performing and connecting with their fans in a live context – in spite of the ravages of the coronavirus.
The full line-up and schedule for this online performance series is as follows:
