Alt-pop artist Fiona O’Kane steps into the spotlight with her tantalising debut single.
Inspired by a literal holiday to a house by the seaside -sans wifi - the former frontwoman for Runaway Go emerged with a new identity and a stunning track.
“I was becoming frustrated, I wanted to expand and push my songwriting for quite some
time and I realised that I needed to make some changes in my approach to music in order to figure out my identity as an artist” O’Kane reveals.
'Holiday' finds its theme with synthy grooves, twanging, menacing guitar riffs and lyrics which are poised between wistful romance and the exact opposite of that.
The video for 'Holiday' was shot along a snow-spattered night-time country road, with O'Kane throwing in dance moves which wouldn't be out of place on a Kate Bush video.
