Dublin Death/Black metal formation Malthusian release new track from their much anticipated full length debut Across Deaths from Invictus Records.
Something a little bit different for track of the day this Friday, coming from a collective of bands such as Mourning Beloveth, Altar of Plagues, and Abandon Incarnate, the result is undoubtedly heavy stuff. Formed in 2012, Malthusian broke onto the scene with their demo MMXIII in 2013 and have since toured Europe and the US. Their debut album is set to be released on September 7th.
Remnant Fauna sets the tone for the band’s upcoming album, with it’s relentless assault on the senses by way of barbarous rhythms and guttural vocals. The song is a sinister exposition, with vocalist Andy Cunningham taking inspiration from the smoldering bogs of the midlands and the now extinct beasts that once roamed them.
