Brilliant two-minute stomper that would deservedly be the tune at the top of the pile if it weren’t for the majesty of Mogwai. ‘Hotel Yorba’ is the sound of the White siblings/partners/ divorcees/man and woman of intrigue checking into a hotel where genres merge into one riotous holler of lettin’ the good times roll. Easily worthy of the lion’s share of this fortnight’s US hype for the next… oh, lets say fifteen seconds at least.
