The Irish rock band are set to play a series of shows across Ireland for 2024 and 2025.
HotHouse Flowers have announced a nationwide tour for 2024 and 2025 , with gigs planned in Clare, Cork, Galway, Wexford, and Kilkenny.
Forming in 1985 as a group of street performers, the band is known for their fusion of traditional Irish music, soul, gospel and rock.
They sparked the interest of U2's Bono early on and released their first single on 'Love Don't Work This Way', on U2's Mother Record label.
Their first album, People, in 1988 saw them reach No. 1 in Ireland and No.2 in the UK, making it the most successful debut album in Irish history. The track 'Don't Go' off of the album featured on Top Of The Pops later that year.
Their most recent LP is Let's Do This Thing —a phrase that also happens to be the band's motto, was released in 2016 and earlier this year they released a documentary, 'Stick Around and Laugh a While' (2024), that followed the band's journey from street performers to present day.
