The electronic duo also shared winter tour dates across Ireland
Irish electronic group HousePlants plan to release their second album Half Known Things on October 18. This accompanies the duo's winter tour announcement that features dates in Galway, Cork, Limerick and Dublin.
The new album has been described as a groovy combination of energetic storytelling and alt rock sounding beats, a fusion of influence that makes HousePlant's sound unique.
The band has a knack for live performance, playing sets at festivals All Together Now and Beyond the Pale.
Paul Noonan says Half Known Things "was very much informed by playing shows with the first one, feeling what was connecting and creating those euphoric collective moments."

Reflecting on the evolution of the band's production he says, "This time, we had the luxury of being in the same room for some of it and making decisions in the moment. Every decision, we asked, ‘Will it make the people move?’”
Daithí explains the resulting album is like if you take "the wild energy of our live shows and bottle it into these nine tracks. It’s music that’s messy, human, and alive, which to me is the heart of what HousePlants is all about."
Half Known Things will be available on all major streaming platforms October 18.
Tickets for the band's tour go on sale October 4 at 10 am, and can be found here.
