The video captures the group in their element – bold, dynamic, and electrifying.
Electronic duo HousePlants have shared a 115-minute live performance, filmed at The Beekeepers Artist Retreat in County Clare. The video serves as a heartfelt thank-you to fans who joined the band during their recent tour celebrating the release of their album Half Known Things.
Frontman Paul Noonan commented: “At the risk of being a hot-air merchant(!!), I feel that there is a peculiar and singular alchemy to how we play as a band. Having made the first record in our respective bunkers, Daithí and I asked our friends Sinead, Glenn, and Alex to be in the live band with us, and I’m delighted that we have this beautiful photograph of where we’ve taken the songs”.
Producer Daithí said: “Coming off a run of incredible shows celebrating Half Known Things, I’m thrilled to have a full, powerful recording that truly captures where HousePlants is right now. Performing with this band is something I deeply cherish, and having Allyn document it so vividly makes it even more special”.
The video is brought to fans by long-time collaborator and filmmaker Allyn Quigley, who commented: “When the HousePlants guys asked me to capture them performing their tracks thus far in The Beekeepers, I knew it was a perfect opportunity to show people a side of the band that they maybe hadn’t seen before.

“My only request was that the tracks be performed in a straight run as close as possible to a live performance - to try capture that unique, electric, joyful energy that they bring to their gigs and create the feeling of being a fly on the wall, sitting back watching a characteristically laid back but well-oiled Houseplants rehearsal.”
