It's arguably the most important stage of your project – without development funding it's a nonstarter!
But securing development funding is also one of the most competitive parts of the process.
The movers and shakers from the two primary funding bodies – the IFB and the BAI – will join a masterclass looking at what it takes to write a successful Development & Production funding application for film or TV.
It will take place on Monday, 5 February from 3.30pm – 5.30pm at the Morrisson Hotel in Dublin .
It's a case of first come first served – as places are limited. It's free for WFT Ireland (Women in Film and Television Ireland) members. It's €10 for a ticket on the door for the public. You can register your place through Billetto.
"They will tell us what they look for in content, what they look for in the application, what they don't want to see and the most common mistakes," says a spokesperson for WFT.
"Key industry advice and insider knowledge about writing a killer application Our panelists will include Key Project Managers from the Irish Film Board and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. It's a great opportunity to hear their thoughts and pick their brains.
"This is a must see event so please book now, places are limited and it's first come first served.
"As always, this event is free to our members so join now to avoid being charged on the door on the day of the event."
