International singer-songwriter Hozier has announced news of his upcoming album, Unreal Unearth, which is due to drop via Island Records on August 18th. The record is available to pre-order here and features previously released hits, ‘Eat Your Young’ and ‘All Things End’, along with new single, ‘Francesca’ out Friday, May 19th.

In a handwritten letter, addressed to fans, Hozier wrote, “It’s my great pleasure at long last to make the official announcement on the release date of my third album, Unreal Unearth…I’m proud of this record and enjoyed watching it come to life over the past year.”

“Thank you as always for your support and patience while it was coming to fruition,” the musician added.

Currently, the 33-year-old is busy performing in North America, gigging at intimate pop-up shows in certain cities ahead of his larger headline tour which will see him conclude at New York’s Bowery Ballroom and Los Angeles’ Troubadour on Thursday, May 25th and Wednesday, May 31st, respectively.

June sees the artist return to Ireland for two sold-out shows in Killarney’s INEC on June 28th, and Malahide Castle, Dublin on June 30th. The stateside stretch of the Irish artist’s Unreal Unearth Tour kicks off September 9th in St. Louis, MO with Madison Cunningham featuring as a special guest across all dates.

He is due to perform 28 sold-out shows across 25 cities, which include Madison Square Garden in New York and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl. This marks his largest North American headline run to date.

Hozier’s breakout single, ‘Take Me To Church’ skyrocketed him to international fame when released in 2013. Ten years later, following billions of streams, Wicklow is still home for Hozier.

Over the past decade, the 33-year-old has had Multi-Platinum album sales, an RIAA-certified Diamond single, number one records on both sides of the Atlantic, multiple awards including a Grammy-nomination, film and video game soundtracks and numerous sold-out live shows worldwide.
