Hozier - From Eden EP
2014 may only be a handful of weeks old. It’s already been a hell of a year for Co. Wicklow’s Hozier. Current EP 'From Eden’ should ensure things carry on in the same way for the silky-voiced, modern bluesman as the opus, which features three studio cuts and a live version of ‘To Be Alone’, is hugely enjoyable experience. The title track is an impassioned, Van Morrison-flavoured number which is sure to repeat the success of breakthrough single ‘Take Me To The Church.’ It’s the brooding, slightly scuzzy blues lament ‘Arsonist’s Lullabye’ which marks the musician out as something special.
