The single is off of the artist's Unheard EP, made up of four tracks recorded during the sessions for Hozier's latest album, Unreal Unearth.
Hozier has reached a massive career milestone; landing his first ever Irish no 1 with his latest single 'Too Sweet'.
'Too Sweet' tops his previous peak of no 2 with his debut single and sleeper hit 'Take Me To Church' in 2014.
The single is from Hozier's Unheard EP which is made up of four tracks recorded during the sessions for Hozier's latest album, Unreal Unearth.
Today's news comes a week after the artist reached his first ever Irish Spotify no. 1 spot. On the same day, 'Too Sweet' also hit the no. 1 on the Spotify Top 50 Charts in the United States, UK, Canada and New Zealand as well as the Global Spotify Top 50 number 5 position.
In what has been Hozier's most successful single to date, 'Too Sweet' reached no. 4 on both the UK official single chart and the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

'Too Sweet' has reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot Rock and Alternative songs.
The song did not make the artists' album Unreal Unearth, with the Wicklow artist saying: "These are songs that might’ve made it to the circles of gluttony, limbo, violence and the outward ‘ascent’ respectively but could not for different reasons," he announced at the time. "I’m very glad I’ll get to share them with you.”
Unreal Unearth was the Co. Wicklow singer-songwriter's first to reach No.1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart last year. It was also his third consecutive Irish No.1 album.
In the midst of a busy run of North American, European and UK dates this summer, Hozier is set to headline Marlay Park in Co. Dublin on July 5.
