The two singers performed Hozier's hit single ‘Work Song’ at the festival in the Netherlands.
Hozier brought Ed Sheeran as a special guest during his set at Pinkpop festival.
The Irish singer-songwriter introduced Sheeran as “one of the biggest artists on the planet”, saying he was “so honoured” to get to share a stage with him.
The two artists went on to play ‘Work Song’ from Hozier’s 2014 self-titled debut album, which he often performs with guests during live shows.
“This is going to be so much fun,” Hozier said onstage at the festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands, before calling Sheeran “an incredible songwriter, a wonderful person and a wonderful guy.”
During the festival weekend, Ed Sheeran was also invited to join Limp Bizkit for a cover of The Who’s ‘Behind Blue Eyes’.

Elsewhere, Hozier shared the stage with Lucy Dacus earlier this month, performing ‘I, Carrion’ from his latest full-length album Unreal, Unearth. He had already been invited by Dacus, Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers on stage last year, during a Boygenius show in Boston, where they performed ‘Salt in the Wound’.
Earlier this year, he became the first Irish artist since Sinead O’Connor to top the Billboard Singles Chart in the US with ‘Too Sweet’, taken from his recent EP Unheard.
The Irish singer will be performing in Dublin’s Marlay Park on July 5.
