We're starting to take it for granted that Andrew Hozier-Byrne is of course going to be nominated whenever it's time for another awards show but this is a biggie – Hozier, and more specifically, the video for 'Take Me To Church', is up for two gongs at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
The promo, directed by Brendan Canty and Conal Thomson of Feel Good Lost, is up for Best Rock Video and Best Direction.
The ceremony, hosted by Miley Cyrus, takes place on August 30. Best of luck to all involved.
