Hoping to see Hozier live for the first time since 2015, fans have started an online campaign to garner support for Latin American dates to be added to the Unreal Unearth tour
Irish artist Hozier is set to go on tour for his new album Unreal Unearth later this year, with shows in the US and Ireland. Until then, fans will have to be tied over with his EP Eat Your Young, set to be released in a little over a week on March 17th.
Not all fans are thrilled at the tour announcement, though. The 32-year-old's Latin American fan base has been missing out on live performances since 2015.
Hoping to fix this, @UpdatesHozier on Twitter, a well-followed fanpage for the artist, started a change.org page petitioning the artist to tour in Latin America. The page included a brief explanation for the campaign.
"On June 22, 2016 Hozier said that he would come to Latin America on his next Tour. However no Latin American country was included in the Wasteland, Baby! tour. We have been waiting 7 years to see Hozier live," Hozier Updates writes.
❕l Hozier’s Latin American fans have started a campaign with the hope to be included in the upcoming Unreal Unearth Tour for the first time since 2015, when he visited Mexico.

"We do this campaign with the hope of being taken into consideration for the upcoming Unreal Unearth tour. It would mean the world to us."
The message was written in both English and Spanish.
Ireland is already on the set tour dates for the Unreal Unearth Tour - a benefit of being Hozier's home country. Tickets for the Malahide Castle performance in Dublin on June 30th went on sale February 28th via Ticketmaster.ie.
