Spotify Wrapped has officially launched, diving into its users’ listening habits for this year.

Taylor Swift ranked as the No. 1 most-streamed artist globally in 2024 on Spotify, earning the title for the second year in a row. Her last album The Tortured Poets Department was also the most streamed record of the year with over 26.6 billion streams.

The album broke several Spotify records, including becoming the first album to top 300 million streams in one day and more than 1 billion in the first week of release.

Irish artist Hozier’s hit single ‘Two Sweet’ was placed seventh on the list of most streamed songs globally and sixth on the most viral songs global list.

Other artists included in Spotify’s most-streamed artists of the year list worldwide were The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake and Billie Eilish.

The 10 most-streamed albums worldwide were largely dominated by women, with Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft at no.2, Sabrina Carpenter's Short n’Sweet at no. 3, Karol G’s Mañana Será Bonito at no.4, followed by Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine, Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version). SZA’s SOS and Swift’s Lover.

Spotify’s most-streamed songs worldwide in 2024 were: Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’, with more than 1.6 billion streams globally, Benson Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things’, Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather’, ‘Gata Only’ by FloyyMenor and Cris MJ, and Teddy Swims’ ‘Lose Control’.

The top podcasts of the year are led by the Joe Rogan Experience and Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy.
