Following on from the announcements of The Waterboys (August 16) and Paul Young (July 19) for this summer’s Bulmers Live at Leopardstown, the famous Dublin racecourse this week reveals the next three artists set to play the 8-week racing and music festival.
Hudson Taylor (June 21), Keywest (July 26) and Smokie (August 9) join a fantastic line-up for one of Dublin’s fastest growing and most exciting nights out.
From busking on the streets of Dublin in their early days, to sold out shows in Ireland, the UK and Europe, Hudson Taylor have been one of this country’s great success stories in recent years and they are welcomed back to Bulmers Live at Leopardstown for a show on Thursday June 21. Brothers Alfie and Harry began 2018 with a brand new track ‘Run With Me’ following lenghty touring of their debut album, Singing for Strangers. They release a 5-track EP Feel It Again at the end of March on Rubyworks.
Elsewhere, Keywest are also no strangers to Dublin’s streets and venues, having built up a huge following in recent years with a brilliant live show and the Number One album, Joyland.
Smokie, meanwhile, have racked up platinum albums across Europe in a career that has spanned over four decades. Probably best known in this country for their gigantic hit single ‘Living Next Door to Alice’, Smokie have played in stadiums around the world, to a staggering 500,000 people in Kiev’s main square to places as far flung as Ulan Bator, Mongolia, where they sold out two nights in the capital’s 40,000 capacity stadium.
