To celebrate the beginning of the Bank Holiday weekend, we're thrilled to announce our recent cover stars Hudson Taylor as the latest act on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – performing live on the Hot Press Instagram at 7.30pm tonight, May 2.

From humble roots as Grafton Street buskers to a sold-out, six-night run at Whelan's, Hudson Taylor have cemented their legacy as one of our most exciting homegrown acts.

Since springing to national attention in 2013 with a series of EPs released by Polydor, brothers Harry and Alfie have enjoyed major success – clocking up millions of Spotify streams, touring the US with Hozier, and signing with the iconic Rubyworks label.

Earlier this year, they released their highly anticipated album Loving Everywhere I Go – scoring their first No.1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart.

They were set to celebrate the release with a major Olympia Theatre headliner in April – which has since been rescheduled to October 29.

Throughout the Lockdown Sessions, our star-studded line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
