The Dublin duo are the latest act on our star-studded line-up for Van Morrison's 75th birthday celebration.
After kicking off proceedings last night with Andrea Corr's intimate rendition of 'Moondance', we're delighted to present Hudson Taylor as our latest act on 'Rave On, Van Morrison' – performing the legendary artist's iconic single 'Cyprus Avenue'.
Over the course of the YouTube event, you can expect even more renditions of Van Morrison's stunning songs from some of the most iconic names in the country – including President Michael D. Higgins with Bill Whelan, Hozier, Sinéad O'Connor, Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, Imelda May, Glen Hansard and Damien Dempsey, to name just a few.
From humble roots as Grafton Street buskers to a sold-out, six-night run at Whelan's, Hudson Taylor have cemented their legacy as one of our most exciting homegrown acts.
Since springing to national attention in 2013 with a series of EPs released by Polydor, brothers Harry and Alfie have enjoyed major success – clocking up millions of Spotify streams, touring the US with Hozier, and signing with the iconic Rubyworks label. Earlier this year, they released their highly anticipated album Loving Everywhere I Go – scoring their first No.1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart.
They were set to celebrate the release with a major Olympia Theatre headliner in April – which has since been rescheduled to October 29.
