The series will be a spin-off of the iconic American Horror Story and will air through the FX cable network

A new television show is being produced to air on the FX network in 2016 called American Crime Story.
The series will be a sister program and a spin-off to the popular American Horror Story, and will star famous AHS characters including Sarah Paulson and David Schwimmer.
American Crime Story will be an anthology series, and will produce a new theme for each season's instalment.
The first season will be subtitled The People V. O.J. Simpson, and will detail the murder trial of O.J. Simpson in 1994.
The AHS spin-off is scheduled to release on February 2, 2016.
