The new, sexier Janet Jackson releases a single from her sexy new album Janet, and to be honest, it's not that much of a progression from the slightly less sexy Janet of yore, even if the CD does include a "Swing Yo Pants" mix. Honestly. 'If' starts out promisingly, with strange samples, wailing guitar and Janet sounding menacing, but before long it becomes just another crowd pleasing funky dance track.
